Firefighters from the Junius Fire Department responded to a fully involved vehicle fire on Route 318 near Gassner Road in Seneca County on Monday. The incident was first reported by Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire, which noted that multiple units were dispatched to the scene.
Responding units quickly arrived to find the vehicle engulfed in flames. Additional support from other responders joined to manage and contain the blaze. The fire was successfully extinguished, though the extent of the damage to the vehicle is currently undisclosed.
No injuries were reported, and an investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
