Early voting for the 2024 general election in Seneca County is now underway, providing voters with an opportunity to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day on November 5.
Voters can choose from two early voting sites: the Seneca County Health and Senior Services Building (2465 Bonadent Drive, Suite 5) and the Seneca County Office Building (1 DiPronio Drive), both located in Waterloo.
Early Voting Schedule:
- Sunday, October 27: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Monday, October 28: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 29: 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 30: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Thursday, October 31: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Friday, November 1: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Saturday, November 2: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Sunday, November 3: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Absentee Ballots
The deadline to request an absentee ballot has now passed (October 26). Voters who have already requested an absentee ballot must return it via mail, ensuring it is postmarked no later than November 5. Alternatively, they may drop off their completed absentee ballots at the Board of Elections office or at any polling site during the early voting period or on Election Day.
Election Day Information
On November 5, polling places across Seneca County will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Voters must visit their assigned polling site to cast their ballot on Election Day.
Statewide Ballot Proposal
Voters will also have the opportunity to decide on a statewide proposition. Details about Proposition One can be found on the New York State Board of Elections website.
