Early voting for the 2024 general election in Yates County starts today, offering residents multiple opportunities to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day on November 5.
Early Voting Schedule:
Saturday, October 26: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.Sunday, October 27: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.- Monday, October 28: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 29: 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 30: 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- Thursday, October 31: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Friday, November 1: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Saturday, November 2: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Sunday, November 3: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The Early Voting site is in the County Office Building, 417 Liberty St., Penn Yan. Hours vary by day. On Saturdays and Sundays the polls are open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the hours are also 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. On Tuesday and Thursday, the hours are Noon to 8:00 PM. Any registered voter in the County is able to vote Early. On Election Day, polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at voters’ designated polling sites across the county.
