Governor Kathy Hochul expressed optimism Friday about New York Democrats’ chances in the upcoming congressional races, highlighting the efforts made to avoid a repeat of their 2022 losses.
Speaking in Greene County, Hochul noted her administration’s investment in 42 field offices across six districts as part of a broader push to strengthen the party’s infrastructure and voter outreach.
Despite not being on the ballot, Hochul remains a target for Republican candidates who link her policies with their Democratic opponents. Hochul emphasized her goal to gain enough seats for Democrats to reclaim the House and position Rep. Hakeem Jeffries for Speaker.
