The Cornell Big Red shut out the Dartmouth Big Green with a scoreline of 3-0 on Saturday. Alex Harris scored all three goals in the first half of action to expand the Big Red’s winning streak against the Big Green to five.
FRESH TAKES: 2026 NFL Preview (podcast) While Harris had all three goals on the day, Connor Miller had all three assists on the day, with Sam Latona being credited a second assist on Miller’s third goal.
Harris began his slew of scoring at 20:54 when Miller found him in the box for the first time Saturday night. Harris then went on to score twice within two and a half minutes as the next two goals came at 34:38 and 36:59.
Cornell had possession 54% of the game and pushed the ball offensively. The Big Red outshot Dartmouth 18 shots to 11. Cornell also had more corner kicks than the Big Green tallying seven to Dartmouth’s five.Â
Goalkeeper, Ryan Friedberg, earned the victory in net for the Big Red, moving his record to 7-1-2 on the year. Friedberg ended the game with two saves and a shutout. This is Friedberg’s fifth shutout of the 2024 season.

The Cornell men’s soccer team will return to the pitch on Saturday, October 12 to face Ivy foe Princeton. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. in Princeton, NJ. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
