After spending the first month of the season at home, the Syracuse football team will hit the road for three straight games, starting Friday at 9 p.m. against UNLV.
The Orange (3-1) picked up a 42-14 bounce-back win against Holy Cross last Saturday after losing to Stanford on a last-second field goal. Meanwhile, UNLV is off to a 4-0 start, most recently beating Fresno State 59-14.
The Rebels are ranked No. 25 in this week’s AP poll and No. 23 in the USA Today Coaches poll so Syracuse is looking for its second win against a ranked team this season and it would mark the first time that has happened in program history since 2001.
The game will be televised on Fox Sports 1, with Trent Rush and Petros Papadakis on the call.
