Owner of Eddie O’Briens buys Parker’s and Halsey’s in Geneva

One of Geneva’s most-popular downtown bar and restaurants has a new owner; and he’s right next door.

Parker’s Grille and Tap House and Halsey’s have operated next to Eddie O’Briens for years, and soon, ownership will transfer from longtime owner/operator Pete Mitchell to Ron Cecere, according to reporting by the Finger Lakes Times.

Since 2010 Cecere has operated Eddie O’Briens, which is expected to be finalized this fall. Parker’s is expected to close in early-October, according to the FLT.

Mitchell is retaining ownership of Parker’s locations in Penn Yan and Newark.
