The annual “Clucks for Bucks” chicken barbecue returns on Thursday, September 26, to raise funds for palliative care at the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center.
The drive-thru event will take place at Crosswinds Wesleyan Church, 3360 Middle Cheshire Road, beginning at 3 p.m. and continuing until the chicken is sold out.
Prepared by Grove Barbecue Company, the $14 meal includes a marinated half chicken, salt potatoes, coleslaw, and a dinner roll.
All proceeds will benefit the Palliative Care Program at the 178-bed nursing facility operated by UR Medicine Thompson Health.
Payments can be made by cash or check only.
