Deputies arrested a Farmington man following an assault investigation.
Ontario County Deputies arrested Michelle Renee Benner, 44, of Farmington, New York, on August 23, 2024, at approximately 4:45 PM, charging her with Assault in the Third Degree. The arrest followed an investigation into a domestic incident at her residence on Northup Lane.
According to authorities, the incident resulted in the victim sustaining injuries to her left knee after being pushed to the ground. Benner turned herself in to the Ontario County Jail, where she was taken into custody without incident.
Benner was arraigned at CAP court and is scheduled to appear in Farmington Town Court at a later date to address the charges.
