Deputies say one man is in custody after a theft from a local farm.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has arrested David W. Direnzi, 41, of Wolcott following an investigation into a larceny at Luciano Farms in the Town of Sodus.
Deputies allege that Direnzi unlawfully entered the premises of Luciano Farms on Ridge Road and stole $120 worth of peaches. He has been charged with Petit Larceny and Trespass.
Direnzi was processed at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office and subsequently taken to the Wayne County Jail, where he awaits CAP arraignment before a judge.
