Wayne County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Man Following Two Warrant Investigations

Deputies arrested a 40-year-old homeless man following two warrant investigations in Wayne County.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Christopher R. Hoover in connection with two warrant investigations originating from the Town of Lyons.

Hoover faces charges of Assault in the Third Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, and Trespass. The warrants for his arrest were issued by the Town of Lyons Court after Hoover allegedly failed to appear at several court hearings.

Deputies located Hoover at Lakeside State Park in Orleans County, after which he was extradited back to Wayne County. He will be arraigned at a later date.

The case is currently pending further legal proceedings.
