Pro-Palestine Activists Vandalize Cornell University Building on First Day of Semester

Cornell University’s main administrative building, Day Hall, was vandalized by pro-Palestine activists on the first day of the fall semester, with graffiti reading “Israel bombs, Cornell pays” and “Blood is on your hands” spray-painted on the entrance.

A glass door was also smashed during the incident.

Officials condemned the vandalism stating that such acts will not be tolerated and promising swift action from Cornell Police.

The incident follows a pro-Palestine encampment last semester, which lasted 18 days. Activists have vowed to continue their push for Cornell to divest from companies supporting Israel.
