Auburn’s Days Inn hotel rebrands under new ownership as The Cayuga Inn at the Finger Lakes

A budget hotel in downtown Auburn has undergone a transformation, rebranding from the Days Inn to The Cayuga Inn at the Finger Lakes under new ownership.

According to reporting by The Citizen, the hotel, located at 37 William St., was purchased by Jai Aruna LLC of Clifton, New Jersey, for $2.41 million on April 9, according to Cayuga County property records.

The 51-room hotel, which did not close during the transition, smoothly shifted from being a local franchise of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to independent ownership, according to hotel manager BJ Patel.

The Cayuga Inn is not affiliated with The Inn at the Finger Lakes on John Street, which is owned by a different New Jersey-based company.
