A single-vehicle accident occurred on Route 38 in Conquest on August 2, sending one individual to the hospital. Conquest Fire Company and CIMVAC Ambulance swiftly responded to a report of a truck in a ditch early Friday morning. The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Department was also on the scene to assist with the incident.
Emergency crews arrived promptly and provided medical assistance to the driver before CIMVAC Ambulance transported the individual to a nearby hospital. Details on the driver’s condition have not been released, and the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
