Cayuga County villages are organizing events to plan the allocation of a $10 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative grant. The village of Cayuga will host a pop-up event on Saturday from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. during the Cayuga Waterfront Festival at Harris Park.
This event, following a similar one in Union Springs, aims to gather community feedback as part of the planning phase. Aurora will hold its event later.
The local planning committee will meet on August 12 in Union Springs to review project proposals. Final project approval by the state is expected in early 2025.
