Harris Campaign Criticizes Trump’s Remarks at Conservative Summit

Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign has sharply condemned former President Donald Trump’s recent speech at the Turning Point Action Believers’ Summit, calling his comments “insulting” and “bizarre.” Campaign spokesperson James Singer released a statement on Saturday criticizing Trump for attacking the faith of Jewish and Catholic Americans and for boasting about the repeal of Roe v. Wade.

“America can do better than the bitter, bizarre, and backward-looking delusions of criminal Donald Trump. Vice President Kamala Harris offers a vision for America’s future focused on freedom, opportunity, and security,” Singer said. The statement followed Trump’s remarks at the conservative event where he called Harris a “bum” and suggested that Christians would no longer need to vote if he is reelected in November.

During his speech, Trump claimed Christians have low voter turnout and urged them to vote in the upcoming election, promising that they wouldn’t need to vote again in four years. “You have tremendous power, you just don’t know that,” he said, echoing similar sentiments from previous campaign events.
