Deputies responded to a trespass complaint at a vacant house in the Town of Conquest around 4:41 AM on July 11. Inside the house, they found Clarence L. Moore of Montezuma, who had cocaine on him.
Eric C. Vroman of Port Byron was also found nearby. Vroman had an active order of protection against him, barring him from the address.
Moore was charged with criminal trespass and possession of a controlled substance. He was released with appearance tickets for a July 17 court date. Vroman was charged with criminal contempt and was arraigned on July 11. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
