With Wells College set to close this year, Aurora is planning for the future of the village and its land.
The village is rezoning Wells-owned properties to attract investors, with a public meeting set for July 29 to discuss the changes.
Additionally, Aurora, along with Cayuga and Union Springs, received a $10 million state grant for downtown revitalization. Plans include taking over Wells’ water plant and keeping key community services open, ensuring a stable future for Aurora.
