Western New York saw 18 tornado warnings Wednesday, leading to two confirmed tornadoes and significant damage from heavy rain and high winds.
WATCH: This video is incredibly intense. This is not recommended, as flying debris can be deadly.

An EF-1 tornado struck Forestville in Chautauqua County, tearing the roof off a home in Arkwright. In Erie County, another tornado destroyed Catherine Mammoser’s farm in Eden. Fortunately, no animals were harmed.
Thankfully there are no injuries but there is significant damage to a number of homes and farms on Rt. 75/Sisson Highway in Eden. The Town of Eden is under a State of Emergency and we are asking all except residents to stay away to allow for cleanup of debris. pic.twitter.com/pnU32bPkVx

To put things into perspective, the state of New York had 42 Tornado Warnings today. This is the most ever issued, surpassing May 31, 1998. A truly wild day. pic.twitter.com/kK207RKqI5

One of the other aspects of today's storms was the tremendous cloud to ground lightning. Check out these photos from Kathy in Stanley, NY. Here tree was hit this afternoon. This is also a great reminder that standing under trees can be deadly during storms. #ROC pic.twitter.com/vkcNa0R548
