Waterloo man passes red light, gets arrested for DWI drugs after stop

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a man following a traffic stop on July 5. Jonathan Carnicelli, 37, was observed driving through a red light around 9:30 PM in the Town of Waterloo.

After investigating, authorities determined Carnicelli was driving while his ability was impaired by drugs. He was taken into custody and processed for DWAI drug charges.

Carnicelli was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Town of Waterloo Court on July 24 at 5:00 PM. The New York State Police assisted in the arrest.
