Waterloo man faces more charges for trying to use fake $100 bills

Waterloo Police arrested a local man on July 2 for trying to use a fake $100 bill at a local business.

Arcangel L. Soler Jr., 55, was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the first degree. Soler was already in custody at the Seneca County Correctional Facility on unrelated charges when he was arrested for this offense.

He had been arrested twice in the last week by Seneca Falls Police and the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office on similar cases.

He remains at the facility awaiting central arraignment. The Waterloo Police Department was assisted by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
