An early morning blaze in Honeoye displaced several residents and destroyed two homes. Fire crews were called to East Lake Road near Trident Marine around 8:10 a.m. Sunday.
Nearly 10 fire departments responded and contained the fire within an hour. Officials say the fire originated in the most severely damaged home, with heat affecting two neighboring houses. Two of the structures are total losses, while the others sustained minor damage.
No injuries were reported, and the cause remains under investigation.
