Yankees’ Aaron Judge, Juan Soto named American League All-Star starters

Major League Baseball announced the All-Star game starters on Wednesday night. 

New York Yankees outfielders Aaron Judge and Juan Soto will start for the American League alongside Cleveland’s Steven Kwan. 


Here is the full AL team: 

First base: Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Blue Jays (3rd starter election)

Second base: Jose Altuve, Astros (6th starter election)

Shortstop: Gunnar Henderson, Orioles (1st starter election)

Third base: José Ramírez, Guardians (3rd starter election)

Catcher: Adley Rutschman, Orioles (1st starter election)

Designated hitter: Yordan Alvarez, Astros (1st starter election)

Outfield: Aaron Judge, Yankees (6th starter election); Juan Soto, Yankees (1st starter election); Steven Kwan, Guardians (1st starter election)

The game is set for July 16 at Globe Life Field in Texas. First pitch is slated for 8 p.m.
