Two people were hospitalized following a two-car crash in the Town of Rose on Sunday.
Deputies say Sarah Tuper, 32, of Alton, was driving a Volkswagen Jetta south on Covell Road when she failed to yield at the intersection with Wayne Center Rose Road. Susie Lapp, 59, of Sodus, driving a Hyundai westbound, struck Tuper’s car.
Tuper was taken to Newark Wayne Hospital, while a passenger in Lapp’s car was flown to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash with help from Wayne County EMS, Clyde Fire Department, and New York State Police.
