Emergency crews responded to a car crash into a house on Waldron Road in Union Springs, Cayuga County.
The incident was first reported by The Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire late-Saturday afternoon, and included a quick response from Union Springs Rescue, Aurelius Fire, Southern Cayuga, and Auburn Ambulance.
Authorities reported the crash a little after 5:30 p.m. and arrived on the scene within minutes. Union Springs Rescue took command and the road was closed at Waldron and Fitzpatrick roads as crews worked.
One person was reportedly taken to Auburn Community Hospital. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
