The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Fayette woman following a property damage accident.
Brenda L. Ruthven, 62, was taken into custody on May 25 at approximately 7:00 p.m. for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), a misdemeanor.
The incident occurred when Ruthven allegedly drove into a mailbox and onto the front lawn of a private residence, causing minor damage. Deputies conducted an investigation and subsequently arrested Ruthven for DWI. No injuries were reported.
Ruthven is scheduled to appear in the Town of Fayette court on June 11, 2024, at 6:00 PM to face the charges.
