UR Medicine Thompson Health held its annual Shining Stars Awards Ceremony on May 7, recognizing Linda Gross of Clyde as the Associate of the Year and honoring 40 other health system associates with Shining Star Awards.
The Shining Stars Awards have been a tradition at Thompson Health for over 20 years. Employees are nominated by their peers, with winners chosen by a secret committee. The number of recipients is determined by 2% of the total number of associates within the health system. Linda Gross, a graduate nurse on the hospital’s 3 East floor, was praised for her dedication to patient care and teamwork.
This year’s Shining Stars include Heather Antonelli of Palmyra, Tabitha Arcarisi of West Henrietta, and Raven Arnitz of Canandaigua, among others. Each recipient was recognized for their exceptional contributions to various departments, including nursing, pharmacy, and social work. For more information, visit ThompsonHealth.com.
