On Thursday a little after noon Seneca Falls police apprehended four individuals involved in the theft of vehicles from a local auto auction. Naeqwan T. Williams, 24, from Greece, and Kenneth D. Carter, 19, along with two juveniles from Rochester, were arrested following a report that they had stolen vehicles earlier that day.

According to auto auction employees, the suspects arrived around 10:00 a.m., accessed two vehicles, and drove away from the premises. Police located one of the stolen vehicles operated by the juveniles in Waterloo, which led to a pursuit that ended with the vehicle being disabled off-road. One juvenile was captured immediately, and the other was found shortly after with the help of a State Police K9 and Drone Team.

Williams and Carter were later detained in Ontario County, where the second stolen vehicle was also recovered. They were charged with third-degree grand larceny and fifth-degree conspiracy. They were released after being issued appearance tickets. The incident saw collaboration from the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, the Village of Waterloo Police, and the New York State Police, culminating in the return of the vehicles to the dealership.
