Bills trade back twice in first round of NFL Draft

Buffalo Bills fans stayed up late Thursday night waiting for the team to make a selection in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, but it never happened. 

Buffalo held the 28th overall pick but traded back twice.

First, the Bills swapped the pick with the Kansas City Chiefs. Buffalo received picks 32, 95, and 221 in exchange for 28, 133, and 248. The Chiefs used the No. 28 pick to select Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy.


Then, the Bills struck a deal with the Carolina Panthers, acquiring picks 33 and 141 in exchange for 32 and 200. The Panthers used the No. 32 pick to select South Carolina wide receiver Xavier Legette.

Buffalo is scheduled to make the first pick of the second round, which begins on Friday at 7 p.m.
