An Indiana man was taken into custody over the weekend in Steuben County after allegedly trying to lure a teen girl into his vehicle.
Authorities say it happened Sunday at the Super 8 Hotel in Bath.
Joshua Beem was arrested on a felony count of attempted kidnapping.
Police received a report of a man trying to lure a 14-year-old into a car against her will.
He was taken into custody after the incident.
