The Powerball jackpot has climbed to an estimated $1.23 billion for the upcoming draw on Saturday, April 6, after no participants matched all six numbers in the $1.13 billion draw on Wednesday night. The numbers drawn were 11-38-41-62-65, with a Powerball of 15 and a Power Play multiplier of 3x.

This surge in the jackpot follows a reset after a win in Grand Blanc, Michigan, where a player secured an $842.2 million prize on January 1. Notably, the Powerball jackpot had previously reached $1.73 billion on October 11 in Frazier Park, California, marking it as the game’s second-largest draw.

Powerball jackpots have surpassed the $1 billion threshold four times, with the record set by a $2.04 billion win in California on November 7. These staggering prizes are part of a broader trend of giant lotteries, with Mega Millions also recording significant jackpots. The chance of winning the Powerball remains 1 in 292.2 million, emphasizing the rare odds of securing such life-changing sums.
