The Odessa-Montour School Board announced the appointment of new principals for B.C. Cate and Hanlon Elementary Schools. Erika Parisian, previously with Romulus Central School District, will take over as principal of B.C. Cate starting June 1, following James Nolan’s transition to deputy superintendent and later superintendent of the O-M district. Parisian’s experience spans various teaching and administrative roles since 2014.

Alisha Tolentino has been named the principal of Hanlon Elementary effective April 29, succeeding Rob Francischelli who moved to a position within the BOCES District. Tolentino brings a wealth of experience from her tenure as a teacher in the Geneseo and Dansville School Districts and her administrative roles in the Addison and Elmira Heights School Districts.

These leadership changes come as part of the district’s efforts to ensure continued excellence in education and administration. Both Parisian and Tolentino are set to begin their new roles, bringing fresh perspectives and experience to the B.C. Cate and Hanlon schools respectively.
