Watkins Glen, Burdett, Montour Falls, and Odessa village elections: Who won?

In recent village elections in Schuyler County, Stephen Klemann and incumbent Bob Carson secured their positions on the Watkins Glen Village Board for the next four years, outpacing competitor Ian Ault. The elections saw active community participation, with Klemann leading at 138 votes followed by Carson with 126.

In Burdett, Linda Arcangeli, transitioning from trustee to mayor earlier in December, won against Jerakah Heady to complete the final year of the previous mayor’s term. The elections also saw Janice Arcangeli, Linda’s daughter, and incumbent trustees Martha Evans and Laurence Jaynes securing their respective seats, indicating strong community support for the existing leadership.

Montour Falls and Odessa villages also concluded their board elections, with James Nolan and Jody Saunders winning in Montour Falls and incumbents Pamela Cicconi and Alijia-Jean Bailey re-elected in Odessa. These elections reflect the community’s trust and expectations from their local leaders across Schuyler County.
