Eleven independent Finger Lakes beverage producers will gather at Atwater Vineyards in Burdett on Aug. 29 for the inaugural Wineries Without Walls Wine Festival.
The tasting event will run from 1 to 5 p.m. and feature small-production wines, ciders and sake, according to organizers. Advance tickets cost $15 and include tastings, while admission at the door will cost $20.
Participating producers include Vagabond Wines, Prism Cellars, Entelecheia Wine Cellars, Nine-Four Wines, Sylvan Cider, Ball Vineyards, Chaos Cellars, John Albert, Behemoth Farm Wine, Little Clover Wine Company and E. Keiko Doi Sake.
The festival will also include Curly Dog Handmade, SPS Pottery and RoRo Soap Company. Organizers said the event is intended to connect visitors with independent beverage producers and other small businesses from the region.
Atwater Vineyards co-owner Aimee Ellis said festival tents will line the grounds near the venue’s large white tent, providing additional seating for attendees.
