Police arrested a Canandaigua man following a disturbance on Cayuga Road.
According to a news release, Seth Merklinger, 37, was charged with criminal mischief after forcing entry into a home and causing thousands of dollars worth of damage.
He was taken into custody and will answer the charges at a later date.
