A Bath resident walked away with a lifetime of free groceries on Wednesday after winning the grand prize in the 2025 Tops Monopoly Reimagined game.
Tom McGlynn claimed the coveted reward during a presentation at the Tops Friendly Markets on West Morris Avenue in Bath. The event marked the conclusion of the retailer’s ticketless Monopoly campaign, which began in March.
Tops officials announced that shoppers had earned more than 75 million Property Points during the promotion and won nearly $8 million in prizes and savings. By collecting points, participants could earn $10 Rewards Cards and entries for daily $1,000 prizes in groceries and gas. Sixty-three daily prize winners were named in addition to McGlynn, who secured the top prize: free groceries for life.
Tops also revealed plans for a “pay it forward” initiative, offering winners a three-minute charity shopping spree at a future date.
