Powerball jackpot soars to $443M

The Powerball jackpot has reached a staggering $443 million, with players across the nation eagerly checking their tickets after the latest drawing. This surge in the jackpot follows a significant win in Michigan on January 1, where a lucky ticket holder won $842 million. The winning numbers for Saturday’s draw were 03-18-27-36-53 with a Powerball of 12, and a Power Play of 2X, sparking excitement among participants.

In addition to the main draw, the Double Play option offered another set of winning numbers: 18-31-36-43-61 with a Powerball of 10. This feature provides an extra chance for players in select locations to win cash prizes, including a top prize of $10 million. The estimated lump sum for the jackpot winner before taxes stands at approximately $212.3 million.

Powerball, available in 45 states, as well as the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico, holds drawings three times a week. With odds of 1 in 292.2 million, players hold onto the hope of becoming the next jackpot champion before the 9:45 p.m. deadline to purchase tickets on the nights of the draws.
