Burdett man admits to selling meth in Schuyler County

In an update in Schuyler County, Steven C. Mayo, a 45-year-old resident of Burdett, entered a guilty plea for his involvement in the sale of methamphetamine.

The plea, submitted on February 15, addresses charges of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, classified as a class D felony.


Mayo’s guilty plea stems from his actions of selling meth within Schuyler County, posing a direct threat to community health and safety.

Scheduled for sentencing by Hon. Matthew C. Hayden on March 14, Mayo faces a potential prison sentence of up to 2.5 years.
