Law enforcement officials in Ontario County say a 31-year-old Sodus man was taken into custody after a few days after a recent domestic incident.
Deputies arrested 31-year-old Dashawn M. Faniel of Sodus on February 2 following an investigation into a domestic incident reported to have occurred on January 29. Faniel is accused of breaching a legally enforced order of protection and physically assaulting the victim, resulting in injury.
The arrest, made at approximately 12:59 p.m., leads to charges against Faniel, who was then held for a CAP arraignment.
Faniel is scheduled to appear at the Hopewell Town Court at a later date to respond to the charges.
