Police: Erratic driver found to be intoxicated during Waterloo traffic stop

The Waterloo Police Department reports the arrest of a local man following an incident on January 25.

According to police, James Morrison, 67, was found to be intoxicated after a roadside investigation.


Initially, police saw Morrison operating his vehicle in an erratic matter. That prompted the stop, which revealed he was intoxicated.

He was issued traffic tickets for DWI, speeding, unsafe lane change, and failure to stop at a light.

The charges will be answered at a later date in local court.
