In a significant move within the craft beer industry, K2 Brothers Brewing has announced the acquisition of the Young Lion brand, following the sale of Young Lion Brewing Company’s brewery to Other Half.
This strategic purchase comes as K2 Brothers Brewing expands, recently opening a taproom at Freewill Elementary. The expanded brewing space is expected to be operational within the year, enhancing the company’s production capabilities.
The deal, set to close by February, promises to maintain the high-quality beer recipes Young Lion is known for. Both sides of the deal expressed excitement about the future post-acquisition. As anticipation builds, both breweries are collaborating on new beers, scheduled for release in February.
