Deputies with the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Rochester man following an investigation at Eastview Mall on Thursday, January 18.
Marivelisse Martinez, 40, was arrested after a shoplifting investigation, where it was discovered she stole $600 in merchandise.
She then provided law enforcement with a false identity, which resulted in additional charges.
Deputies say Martinez was charged with petit larceny, false personation, and was taken into custody for other bench warrants which were discovered at time of investigation.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
