Police in Canandaigua arrested a 38-year-old Canandaigua resident following an assault investigation.
The Canandaigua Police Department reports that Houston Fountaine, 38, was arrested for aggravated family offense and second-degree assault, both felonies, after an incident overnight on January 7.
The victim was treated at Thompson Hospital, police added, who said they suffered serious injuries.
Fountaine was taken into custody and transported to the Ontario County Jail.
