A routine traffic stop conducted by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies in the village of Lodi on November 18 led to the arrest of Shaelynn E. Kelly for driving while intoxicated.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:49 p.m. when deputies stopped Kelly’s vehicle for speeding.
During the stop, deputies suspected Kelly was under the influence of alcohol. Subsequent field sobriety tests confirmed their suspicions, indicating signs of intoxication.
Following these results, Kelly was placed under arrest on charges of DWI.
The charges against her include driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) over .08, and speeding in a 55 mph zone.
Kelly is scheduled to appear in the Town of Lodi Court on December 20 at 10:00 a.m. to answer the charges.
