On November 16 around 12:15 a.m. deputies responded with officers from the Geneva Police Department to an address on Genesis Way for a domestic incident.
After interviewing those involved in the incident, Julie Ann Huertas, 47, of Geneva was accused of striking her husband several times, and preventing him from calling 911 after an argument escalated.
A neighbor was also struck by Huertas when she tried to intervene on behalf of the husband.
Huertas was charged criminal mischief and two counts of harassment. Those charges will be answered at a later date.
