Founded in 2010 by Justin Hamilton and Chris Stern, both RIT graduates, Hamilton Stern Construction has built a reputation for exceeding client expectations and delivering high-quality construction services. With a commitment to hiring dedicated professionals who understand the importance of transparency, collaboration, and craftsmanship, the company has steadily grown from two college friends to a team of over 55 employees.
Hamilton Stern has relocated to 80 Office Park Way in Pittsford, a six-minute drive from the previous Monroe Ave location. The 18,000-square-foot office building in Tobey Village Office Park was completely gutted and fully renovated in nine months, providing much-needed office and collaboration space for the ever-growing company.
In keeping with today’s desire for an enhanced employee experience, the new facility houses an employee recreation area that sits between a full kitchen and a meeting area big enough for the whole company to gather.
“It’s cliché and a lot of companies say it, but it’s true for Hamilton Stern; we’re like a family. It’s important the team stays connected and enjoys coming to work,” said Justin Hamilton, Principal. “With two-thirds of the company scattered around on different job sites, we now have a space where everyone can meet, connect, and play a couple of games.”
Taking the office move into consideration, and the company celebrating its thirteenth anniversary, Hamilton Stern thought it the perfect opportunity to update the brand to refresh and revitalize the organization. A bold new logo, contemporary colors, and a fitting new tagline more adequately represent the current business.
“This company started out as two college friends thirteen years ago taking any job they could get,” said Chris Stern, Principal. “We’ve literally and figuratively grown; we’re nearing 60 employees and we’re strategic with the projects we do now. We wanted our brand to reflect the successful company we’ve become.”
While much of the rebranding has been completed over the last several months, over the next few weeks, all project site signage will be updated, rebranded company vehicles will be on the road, and a fresh new website will be published showcasing the company’s impressive team, office, and portfolio of work.
“It’s been an exciting year,” said Jason Van Zeilen, President. “We have great people who do great work. This company wouldn’t be where it is without this team.”
