A 14-year-old male is facing felony and misdemeanor charges after two incidents at the same local business, according to the Seneca Falls Police Department.
On the evening of September 5, police responded to a burglary alarm at the establishment and found evidence of burglary and property damage.
The following day, while conducting a neighborhood canvass, officers were alerted to an ongoing larceny at the same business by a juvenile suspect, who was subsequently detained.
Upon investigation, authorities determined that the juvenile involved in the larceny was the same individual responsible for the previous night’s burglary. He is charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief, both felonies, as well as a misdemeanor charge of petit larceny.
The juvenile was released on an appearance ticket and is set to face the charges at the Seneca County Probation Department at a future date.
