Hornell woman charged with grand larceny, falsifying business records

On September 5, Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard announced the arrest of Nicole M. Harwood, 47, of Hornell, following an internal investigation.

Authorities allege that Harwood wrongfully obtained funds exceeding $3,000 and deliberately falsified entries in an official business ledger in the Town of Bath.

Harwood faces charges of grand larceny as a class D Felony, along with falsifying business records as a class E Felony.

After her arraignment in the Centralized Arraignment Court, Harwood was subsequently released.
