A Penn Yan man found himself being airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital this past Sunday after a crash.
Shawn Madigan, 37, was driving southbound on Pre-Emption Road near Earl’s Hill Road around 4 p.m. when he misjudged a curve, causing his vehicle to veer off the east side of the road and subsequently collide with a shed.
The vehicle eventually came to rest atop a mound of stones.
While the full extent of Madigan’s injuries remains unclear, emergency responders at the scene deemed an airlift necessary for further medical evaluation.
As of now no charges are anticipated in connection to the incident.
