A high-speed motorcycle crash on Lembke Road in the Town of Arcadia led to the hospitalization of 39-year-old Adam Purdy of Galen.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported that Purdy, while traveling northbound at an excessive speed, lost control of his motorcycle, resulting in a collision with a ditch.
Purdy, found to be at fault, received multiple vehicle and traffic citations. He was subsequently taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for injuries deemed non-life threatening.
Assistance at the scene was provided by the Fairville Fire Department and Finger Lakes Ambulance, with the damaged motorcycle being towed away.
